Welcome to BFAvery.com - The OFFICIAL home of the B.F. Avery & Sons Antique Tractors and the B.F. Avery Collectors and Associates National Tractor Club on the internet!
You have probably joined this site to learn more about the BF Avery tractor, one of the little known collectable tractors of the late 1930's and through the early 1950's. You may have questions concerning the different models and/or specifications; we have strived to collect and publish as much data as we can. However, there remains little of the company data, records and other items since most were destroyed in the late 1940's when Minnie Moline purchased BF Avery. Why this was done is anybody’s guess.
To begin with, you should familiarize yourself with the menus of the website. We have tried to design the website so that nothing is more than three clicks away from the main menus. The website design is open source software so it has been thoroughly tested and should operate without any glitches. However, software gremlins do exist and if you should ever have a problem just contact us via the contact form.
Constructive criticism of the site and contents thereof are welcome. However, bear in mind that this website is a voluntary effort and all of the site software we're using is open source (i.e.; as in FREE). Furthermore, the maintenance of the site if performed by one volunteer (that being me) and I have a limited time to spend working on it since I do have a full time job. That being said, I will endeavor to correct, modify or improve upon any ideas that you care to send me.
Finally, start using the forums, post questions, information about your tractor or just anything of interest. Since this is a site that concentrates on a lesser known classic tractor, we need to get as many folks as we can post and talking about the B.F. Avery Tractors. Your questions may be slow in getting answered but hopefully someone will step up and post an answer ASAP. And remember, there is no formal support team on BFAvery.com, so its up to each one of us to help out answering questions!
Welcome again to BFAvery.com and the wonderful world of the B.F. Avery & Sons Antique Tractors.!
